Optimal Eating

Top tips for optimal eating:

  1. Eat by choice, because you are hungry. Notice if you are emotional eating. (If you want support, contact me nicbenter@gmail.com , I special in working with people to eat by choice and liberate themselves from all that food choice chatter!)

  2. Eat real and unprocessed food. This means items found at the farmers market, in the produce section at the store, or made yourself. Avoid food that is packaged in boxes. Examples of real food: avocados, salads, oranges, apples, carrots, brussel sprouts, fish, etc.

  3. Bio-individuality: Notice what makes your body feel good and eat that! We are all different and have different needs and desires. I suggest you keep a log of what you eat and how it makes you feel. Try cutting out certain foods (such as dairy or wheat or grains) and record how you feel. Eat what makes you feel great! For me, I avoid all dairy and eggs.

  4. Avoid sugar.

  5. Avoid veggie oils. For example, I consume only eat olive oil and coconut oil.
